I like snapping quick pictures of my daily cooking. A bowlful of nothingspecial sometimes brings you more joy than a 10-course holiday feast. I am particularly excited when I can whip up something quickly out of those special things called whatever is left before next shopping. My family has a rule of no shopping during the week, unless absolutely necessary, so Friday dinners can get, uhm, adventuresome sometimes. So if those taste quests result in happy ending, my pride gets blown out of proportions and I have an urge to take pictures. They don’t always represent the meal accurately, but being looked at days and months later, they invariably evoke memories. It’s hard to explain.
Below are some randomly snapped photos of ordinary everyday dinners or lunches. May be some special occasion meals, too.
It’s like a parent’s brag book of baby photos. Enjoy.
